2. Roster: 14 players maximum

3. Insurance: All teams are required to have their own team coverage and or show proof of player badges from ASA.

4. Players can only play on one team during a tournament.

5. Uniforms with numbers are required. No duplicate numbers allowed. Players need to use the same number throughout the tournament.

6. Protest Fee: $100. cash ( Rule interpretation only ). Must be made at time of call, can not protest judgment calls.

7. Home Team : Will be determined by coin flip in pool play. When games are done by seeding, higher seed will always be Home Team. If teams have the same seeding a head to head will come into play and if they did not play each other in pool play it will require a coin flip.

8. Game Time : Start time is forfeit time. Umpire will determine Start Time and record it with the Official Score Keeper.

9. Home Team is the Official Score Keeper.

10. Player Minimum : Teams must start a game with nine players or forfeit. They can finish with less due to an injured player unable to play, taking outs in the vacant batting position.

12. Tie game in Bracket play: If at the end of 7 innings or expiration of time the game is still tied the next inning will start with a runner (last out)8 on second base. (International Tie Break Rule)

13. Championship Games : No time limit, Mercy Rule in effect.

14. Mercy Rule : All games and all divisions – 15 after 3 and 8 after 5 (ASA)

15. Extra Hitter (EH) : Teams may elect to bat 10 players, the tenth player can bat anywhere in the line up, any nine can play defense. This must be done on the line up before the game.

16. DP/Flex DP and Flex players may be used. Example: The DP hits for the flex player anywhere in the batting order. The flex may play any defensive position and may enter the game offensively only in the DP position.

17. Pre-Game Infield : None. All teams are encouraged to warm up as much as possible outside the game field where there is room.

18. Umpires : All conversations with an Umpire should be after a time out has been called. Any conversations should be done in a calm and professional manner. Verbal abuse will not be tolerated and may cause a manager/coach to be ejected. Cursing and throwing of equipment will be cause for immediate ejection.

19. Ejections : Any Manager/Coach or player ejected from a game will sit out the next game also. Manager/Coach are responsible for the conduct of their fans also.

20. Any team using illegal players shall be subject to disciplinary action ranging from forfeiting a game, removal from the tournament and possible suspension from all PSSG Tournaments for 1 year.

21. Bad Weather : PSSG Tournaments could be played during wet weather conditions. Games could be shortened and the format may change. Managers / Coaches will be made aware of any changes before games start.

22. Refunds : Rain outs = 1 game played we refund 50% of the entry fee. 2 games played there will be no refund. Cancellations = 14 business days before the tournament a full  refund will be given, 13 businesses days or less a credit of the full amount will be applied towards a future PSSG tournament. 

23. No Shows : Any team that doesn’t show up for their games will forfeit their entry fee. This may also cause them to be suspended from future PSSG Tournaments.

24. Tournament Director will make final decisions on all tournament questions.

25. Scorecards must be signed by both team Managers / Coaches after the game to verify the Score.
